It is important to continue Valtrex treatment even if symptoms become less obvious, as the effectiveness of the drug may provide a certain positive result.
Directions of Valtrex:
Valtrex is recommended ever since first signs of herpes infection appear. Tingling, burning and itching may be considered clues for a future viral problem. Patients are advised to take Valtrex as soon as possible and regularly. Valtrex doses are indicated with a full glass of water, respecting doctor’s prescription. For Valtrex to offer optimum results, it is indicated to remember taking all doses and maintain herpes lesions dry and clean. However, if prescribed by the doctor, the combination requires permanent monitoring and, in certain cases, dosage adjustment.
Valtrex's Side Effects:
Valtrex may also feature side effects during treatment. Symptoms may differ from one individual to another, yet most reported have been headaches, stomach disturbances including flushing and constipation, vomiting and nausea, pain in the abdominal area, balance disorders and tremor. In case these reactions persist or become more serious, patients are recommended to seek medical attention immediately.
